Is the direction of this accurate? If so that would definitely explain why ( I read this I could be wrong) all of the planets are on a single plane. If they were orbiting differently they’d eventually get flung off or torn apart, maybe?
If it’s accurate or not really depends on… what are you measuring the motion relative to? And the reason for the planets being in almost the same plane is currently believed to be because the solar system formed from a cloud of gas and dust that slowly collapsed. As it collapsed, all of the stuff in the cloud was rotating the center of mass of the cloud in all directions… but sometimes things bumped into each other. And that transferred velocity and etc etc.. eventually, all particles had a velocity equal to the average velocity. (Velocity includes distance, remember!)
